The Glass City
Marina 30, a building located in one of A Coruña’s most historic areas, linked with the evolution of the city’s port.
The architectural style that characterises many of the buildings on Avenida Marina are the 13th-century balconies, mainly made of wood and glass. They provided a transition between the inside of the buildings and the outside, creating an intermediate space from which to enjoy the views of the port.
Avenida Marina became one of the most representative parts of A Coruña, earning it the name of the Glass City.
